TCMB, bir hafta vadeli repo ihalelerine yeniden başlıyor
On March 1, 2026, the Central Bank of Turkey announced the restart of one‑week repo auctions. The announcement was made at a press conference in Ankara, after a pause in these auctions.
The decision is part of the bank’s liquidity management tools. The official statement titled “Türk Lirası Likidite Yönetimine İlişkin Basın Duyurusu” confirms the restart will take effect on that date.
The resumption of the auctions is expected to provide additional market liquidity and support the bank’s monetary policy operations. By reintroducing the auctions, the central bank seeks to ensure sufficient liquidity for financial institutions and to reinforce the effectiveness of its monetary policy.
